Winter has begun

We had our first snowstorm this past sunday which resulted in two extra days of school due to the heavy snow. Those days were mostly spend watching movies and baking treats. I did went to practise on Tuesday.

Wednesday we had to go back school again. We had morning practise again and in the evening I baked traditional dutch cookies called 'pepernoten'. They turned out pretty good so I took a bunch of them to school the next day.

On Friday our team had their first basketball game of the season. Sadly the team that I am on didn't get to play, because the school we were against didn't have enough players. I still had an amazing time watching the JV and Varsity girls and boys games.

Saturday I finally got to sleep in for a while. In the afternoon we went to a christmas tree expo. There were a bunch of decorated trees out for auctioning. That evening we set up the christmas village. The rest of the night was spent watching movies and relaxing.
