My first game of the season

This week was pretty normal school wise. Tuesday night Caroline and me put our shoe with a carrot in it in front of the door to celebrate our national holiday "Sinterklaas". When I woke up Wednesday morning I found some little gifts in my shoe and a cute poem.

Later that night I went to the christmas concert at our school. The band and choir performed a few christmas songs. And of course Mr. Grinch showed up when they played "you're a mean one Mr. Grinch".

On Friday I had my first basketball game of the season. I got to play 2 quarters total. We played against Nemaha which was a really good school. Sadly all our teams lost. The game was really fun and it gave me a lot of adrenaline. Even though we lost we still played pretty good considering it was our first game. I'm player number 45.

On Saturday we went to Kansas city to help Caroline's sister with her car. We ended up drinking coffee at a really boujee coffee place and we spend the rest of the day walking around in the mall. We ate dinner at "Pete's Steakhouse" before we went home.

Sunday we went to the nutcracker ballet perfomance in Topeka. The show was really good and the dancers were amazing. I am really glad I got to see it.
