Go Panthers!! (Spirit week)

We had spirit week this week at school. This meant that everyday of the week had a different theme. Monday was Pj-day, Tuesday was twin day, Wednesday was scrabble-day, Thursday was tourist-day and on Friday was Homecoming so we all had to wear the school colors, purple and white.

On Thursday we also had 'senior bandits'. It's where the senior go to the homecoming kings and queens houses and do pranks. It was really fun. We put post-it's on the candidates cars and we throwed toilet paper in their trees. We also decorated the school for school spirit. Almost all the seniors helped so it turned out pretty cool.

The whole week you could vote for who would become the homecoming king and queen of this year. My friend was one of the candidates, so we all pitched in and got a shirt to promote her. The candidates had some weird rituals they needed to partake in. The made a video where they danced to a song and they also came to the pep rally on wednesday where they showed baby pictures of them and they had to do games such as eat a pickle as fast as you could.

Friday was the last day of spirit week and all the classes decorated a part of the school. The theme of this year was 'Under the Sea'. The seniors got to decorate the main commence area.We had prepped for this day all week and we won the contest!

Later that day we had a small pep rally where the band passed by all the classrooms and played a few songs. They did this to get us ready for the football game that night. Before the game started they announced the homecoming queen and king of this year. Our football team hadn't won a single game all season, but tonight in the last 50 seconds they made 20 points and won their first game! After the game was the homecoming dance. I have never been to a school dance that was this much fun. Everybody danced like no one was watching and was enjoying themselfs. There was great music and I really liked it. Luckely I had no plans this weekend so I can rest a bit from this crazy week.
