Last week I had some difficulties with my laptop. So I´m combining last week in this weeks blog.
Last weekend I went to a friends sisters volleyball game in Atchison. Her sister is in College. I love watching volleyball and seeing it at a College level was really fun. Her sister won the game and I won a towel :) One of the girls on her team was also an exchange student.....from the Netherlands!
It felt weird talking dutch after such a long time, but I can't image not speaking it for 4 years. Another unusual thing, which I seemed to be the only one to think it was unusual, there were actual monks attending the game. After the game we went to eat at Pete's steakhouse with my friends family and we drove around Atchison. They showed me the most haunted house in the States and also Amelia Earharts house.

Last Sunday I went with my organization to a Royals game in Kansas City. The stadium was HUGE. We were very lucky and had a pretty good spot. The game itself took about 3.5 hours. There were games in between the rests and we went to the museum attached to the stadium. It was a cool, very american, experience.

Fall and Halloween season has began and if you walk around my school you can't forget it. Everybody is talking about haunted houses and fall. A girl in my school walks around with a pumpkin every day.
On Wednesday I went to our schools concert choir. They did a bunch of different songs including: make a man out of you from mulan, Imagine from John Lennon and three little birds from Bob Marley. Not a lot of people from my school showed up and it was mainly just the parents. But I am glad I went. It was really fun and they could sing really good.

This Friday I helped my friends raise money for their FFA school trip. We had a concession stand at our schools football game. We sold hot chocolate, coffee and baked goods. We didn't raise a lot of money sadly enough, but it was a great night none the less. I have a long weekend this week, because we have Monday off. So I get to sleep in one more day!
