Easter

Monday started of great. We had a pizza party in my family studies class. We all filled out survey's a couple weeks ago and received money for it. So our teacher decided to treat us to pizza.

The next day we 'learned' how to make pancakes in culinairy essentials. We made delicious chocolate chip pancakes. Later that night we went to Caroline's FFA awards meeting. The FFA stands for 'future farmers of America'. They do a lot that has to do with agriculture.

On Thursday and Friday Caroline's sisters came home for Easter. We made a delicious carrot cake that day. Friday was a really sunny day so I spent a good amount of the day reading my book outside. While we were baking the cake we painted some eggs.

On Saturday we went over to my hostfamilies family to celebrate Easter. We had a tasty dinner and we also did an egg hunt in the backyard. In the evening we went to a beautiful tulip exposition in Topeka.

On Sunday we went to church and afterwards we enjoyed a brunch together. We also received our baskets from the 'Easter Bunny'. Later we went over to some other family to have lunch together. I really enjoyed experiencing Easter in America.
